What Awenesst Birth Provides

All services are non-medical and solely educational, physical, and emotional support.

Birth Doula

  • 2 prenatal visits, learning about each other and your birth preferences
  • On call at 38 weeks until the birth of your baby
  • Attendance and support for the entire labor and delivery
  • 1 postpartum visit to discuss the birth and your recovery
  • Photography (upon request)

Postpartum Doula

  • 1 meeting during the 3rd trimester of your pregnancy
  • 6-7 weeks of support for the whole family
  • Light household cleaning
  • Support with feeding (latch, positions, bottles, etc.)
  • Cloth diaper and elimination communication support
  • Meal preparation (upon request)
